  4. Latest features:

  6.  - Ascii upload.
  7.      Set up the file transfer as normal, but select ASCII as your protocol.
  8.      When you click on SEND, Terminal mode will be entered, and you can watch
  9.      the file being uploaded. To abort, return to the desktop (BREAK) and click
  10.      on CANCEL on the transmit window.
  11.  
  12.      There are some new options on the main menu for file transfers: only for
  13.      ASCII uploads at the moment.
  14.          Expand Blanks: When ticked this will send <space><return> instead of
  15.            just <return> at blank lines, so if you are uploading a text file to
  16.            an editor which takes a blank line as an end-of-input, any blank lines
  17.            in the text file will not cause the editor to terminate entry
  18.            prematurely.
  19.          CR: When ticked, all LFs in the text file will be converted to CRs before
  20.            sending.
  21.          LF: As above except CRs get converted into LFs
  22.          Delay: Allows you to specify the speed at which characters are
  23.            transmitted, to cater for the slower BBSs around (eg Commnett)

  25.  - New phonefile format:
  26.      As before, except now the first two bytes in the file specify the version
  27.        +0 - zero (indicates new format)
  28.        +1 - version number
  29.      Version 2 files have 10 lines per entry rather than 8:
  30.        Line  9: Macro definition (80 chars max). Will be executed when you hit
  31.                 F12 in terminal mode.
  32.        Line 10: 'Selected' flag. If there is a '*' on this line then when the
  33.                 phonefile is loaded this entry will be selected (subject to
  34.                 it still being available for this time of day). Otherwise this
  35.                 line should be left blank.

  37.  - Can now load phone files at any time

  39.  - Dialstate file scrapped... dial selections saved in phonenum file itself.

  41.  - Interactive resizing of Grapevine task slot implemented: controls size of
  42.    capture buffer.

  44.  - Macro key facility: Each entry in diallist has it's own macro. Execute with
  45.    F12 (as mentioned above)

  47.  - Inter dial delay facility added... can now specify delay between dial
  48.    attempts in seconds (for exchanges that don't reset the phoneline fast

  51.  - Can now set dial-wait time from control panel icons (up/down arrows)

  56.    the process of 'Returning' to the desktop and reselecting 'Redial' to move
